Celiac in New York City? Where do you find your most joy?

I’ll go first! :’) When I return back to the US, it’s the NYC delis that are my favorite. I can’t explain it.. there is just such a joy to these tiny places with all sorts of yummy odds and ends.

There’s just so much deliciousness packed into a tiny space. And with prepared food being available for a fraction of the cost elsewhere, it’s a win-win from me! Truth, though, I haven’t been able to eat the prepared foods since I discovered I was celiac. There is just TOO much risk for gluten contamination 🥲. Still, my memories are great - and for everyone else, it’s something that you must enjoy. Plus - tons of random odds and ends still remain 🙌
