Wow, how time flies! When I first touched down in Dubai a couple years ago, I was ready to leave the Parisian rat race behind and dive into a city unlike any other I’ve experienced. Clean, modern, and lively, Dubai definitely made an impression. Here’s why it’s a fantastic extended stay location if you’re living that location independent life!

Why Dubai?

SUN: Ok, if you know me, you know that I would rather suffer pain than cold. Cold weather is for me the equivalent of a thousand small cuts. I’m just miserable. My fingers don’t move, I can’t get out of bed, my energy dies, and I basically die inside. If you also need the sun and warm weather, I know that you get this!

Modern & Health-Conscious: I’ve said before, health is important for me. Dubai’s health-conscious vibe means finding gluten-free options, and similarly minded people.

Affordable Stays: Believe it or not, you can score fairly budget-friendly accommodations in Dubai! PM me if searching, and I’ll connect you.

Co-working: While it used to be challenging to find free-spirited co-working spaces, projects such as Nas Daily’s recent creation of the Nas House has changed the game.

Drive: Someone once told me that Dubai is the wealthy’s playground, and it’s not untrue. You are the 5 people you spend the most time around. If you’re driven, why not place yourself where you will find similarly driven people?

Investment: OK, this is where I get excited.. I’ve partnered with local developers to find some amazing investment deals. For those who know real estate, you’ll understand what I say when I say 20% cap rates.. PHENOMENAL.

The Verdict? If looking for somewhere modern, Dubai is a great contender.
