Mount Etna Memories and the Joy of Settling: My Shift from Adventure to Home

This popped up on my highlights today ๐Ÿ˜…

What weekends used to look like - spontaneously deciding to climb the active volcano, Mount Etna, in Sicily ๐ŸŒ‹

Itโ€™s funny how life changes with my newfound excitement being the joy of settling after the crazy years of travel - although so nice to be reminded of these moments!

Iโ€™m in this very moment all about furniture shopping and making my new home a home ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ”จ. If youโ€™ve seen my stories this last week, you know!

But more than that - Iโ€™m excited to build out my new community. This time not a global community, but rather a tangible group of friends - dare I say, second family - who are right there with me. This last weekend was spent with friends and their family in the most welcoming way, and I cherished every moment of it. Late night conversations about everything under the stars - from fashion labels and music to religion to trauma healing to stories of survivors of another era. Wow.

But itโ€™s not just that. This time in one place has given rise to a look at other parts of myself, to more room for a different side of creativity. Iโ€™m back to my regular dance schedule (and learning west coast swing, too!) See the video ๐Ÿ‘‰. My days in the office are *packed* with wonderful news, and it just seems like this slowing down came just at the right time -
that this was really required in order to plant myself down, grow and bloom in different ways than what travel gives you!

Now in one place, excited to finally share more of my past travel moments, and lessons I learned in building a location independent lifestyle, along with the several upcoming adventures I have planned. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘ธ
