Why Asia Is A Smart Move For Extended Stay Travelers & Productivity

As someone that has been traveling full time for yeaaaars now while running online businesses, I’ve learned a few tricks along the way that have helped me stay productive without sacrificing the joys of exploration ESPECIALLY in Asia. Here’s why -

1. The Timezone

When you’re based in Asia, the time difference is a God send. By the time it’s 4 PM in Asia, the UK is just waking up, and the US is still fast asleep. This means you can get all your work done in the morning without distractions. This allows for deep focus, making it easier to tackle critical tasks. OR you can enjoy the day to feel more productive with more mental stamina when you sit down to work for a few hours in the evening - dream life!

2. Cost-Effective Living

This is one of the biggest benefits of Asia. You can enjoy a comfortable lifestyle without the stress of high expenses. This financial freedom allows you to work fewer hours, giving you more time to focus on the growth of your business or simply to enjoy life.

3. The Expat Community

Many of the popular locations in Asia have fantastic expat / nomadic communities because Asia has been the go to travel spot for so long - even on pretty remote islands! Joining local Facebook groups can help you find these communities looking to share experiences, get recommendations, & even collaborate on projects together. This was SO important during my travels because loneliness is REAL, I have written about this before and will link to that in my story!

4. Great Coworking Cafes, WiFi & Hospitality

Asia is so established as a travel destination that it is home to some of the best coworking cafes and spaces, offering fast WiFi even on farfetched islands (just do your research!) - as well as gorgeous high-quality accommodation at lower rates than you’ll ever find in Europe / the US.

HOWEVER, if you are celiac: Be conscious that a lot of countries in Asia rely on soy - so if you go to those countries make sure there are “western” restaurants around as those tend to cater to GF dietary needs.

So where is your favourite extended stay location in Asia? I want to know!
