Friends Who Travel
@jes.travels and I have been friends since forever. We met in NYC through a social network of travelers. Back then, I was both fascinated and a little jealous of her — she had been traveling the world for 10 years while I was in the U.S., laser-focused on building my career.
Who knew that years later, we’d both become digital nomads, exploring new corners of the world together? 🌏
This photo takes me back to one of my favorite memories in Petra. The night before, we had a classic traveler’s disagreement about how early to wake up. 😂 (Spoiler: I *lost* that negotiation — 5:30 a.m. it was!) I’m more of a slow traveler — I love taking my time to really soak in the energy of a place. But on this trip, neither of us had time to enjoy the sites at a slower pace. It was full speed ahead! Even so, that early morning in Petra turned into one of the most unforgettable days.
If Petra isn’t already on your bucket list, it needs to be. 🏛️ As someone who’s obsessed with architecture and real estate, the sheer artistry of the carved facades left me speechless.
Here’s to friendships built on adventure, early mornings, compromises, and memories that remind us why we wander. 🥂
