What Too-Ashuu Taught Me About Life

I recently visited Too-Ashuu Pass in Kyrgyzstan, and it hit me deep. This place feels like freedom itself – raw, wild, and completely unfiltered. The winding road up was no joke, every twist and turn throwing a new challenge my way, like it was daring me to keep moving. 🏞️🚐

Being location independent, sometimes life feels like this road – unpredictable, with no map to tell you exactly where you’re headed next. It’s just you, the open path, and the choice to keep pushing forward. There’s no one clear view, no straight line, but every stop along the way reminds you why you took this path in the first place. To live fully. To be free. To find these hidden, unforgettable places that make all the ups and downs worthwhile.

After yesterday's election, I know a lot of friends feel elated, while others feel forlorn and lost. It’s also like being on that road, with uncertainty around every corner and no way to see the whole path. If the results aren't what you hoped for (and even if they are), it can feel overwhelming at best. But as much as I don’t have all the answers, I still believe in us, in the #usa. This isn’t the end – we're a resilient country, and this is yet another challenge with an unpredictable outcome.

If you’re feeling weighed down, know you’re not alone. We’ve been through darkness before, and we’ve come out stronger. Sometimes, all we can do is take it one turn at a time. This might be a hard climb, but I believe the view ahead is worth it. .. andIf you’re feeling lost on your own journey, maybe you’re right where you’re meant to be. Just keep going, curve by curve. 🌄
