From Streets to Sidewalks: NYC's Artful Surprises

New York City is a canvas that’s continually evolving - and I love to see the changes every time I come back. Its streets whisper stories, not just through the people bustling by, but also through the silent narrators that stand guard on its sidewalks - the street art.

Take this quirky character I stumbled upon: a Charlie Chaplin-esque stone figure casually leaning against a lamppost, bottle in hand. It’s a snapshot of New York’s playful side, an embodiment of the city’s love for the arts, expressed in such interesting ways.

These small, unexpected installations that pop up around corners are here one season, gone the next, replaced or reimagined into something new, mirroring the ever-changing landscape of the city.

If you’re looking for a place to stay while you’re here, check out @CityamiHosts - one of my businesses based in NYC that keeps bringing me back. And if you do come, or you’re already a local, when you walk these streets, keep your eyes up to see what wonders are around you!
