I posted last week about the importance of having a routine while traveling full time to keep some stability in your life, but I didn’t get to mention how these travel habits are sooo key for maintaining your mental health.
The truth is, constantly traveling, especially as a solo-traveler cannnn, at times, become not just isolating - but also exhausting.
When I travel, having a daily gym routine, no matter where I am in the world, helps me feel a sense of normalcy and I actually end up meeting a lot of people here - like these guys!
By ensuring that I get this personal self care time - simply as a routine, is the best way to start the day. It just sets me up in a better mood, on top of energizing me so that I am always ready to get productive in work later on.
If you are solo traveling and feel a bit uneasy, I really recommend building in little daily habits like this. These moments that you can have for yourself, by yourself, create a sense of stability and at least for me, knowing that I have a familiar framework for my day anywhere that I choose to travel to, makes such a huge difference to my overall well-being. 🙌
